Patrick Mahomes weighs in on Rashee Rice situation
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has weighed in on wide receiver Rashee Rice’s difficult offseason.
Mahomes made clear that he is committed to helping Rice, who is facing legal trouble over a series of offseason incidents. The quarterback said Wednesday that he is eager to help Rice “learn from his mistakes.”

“We’re trying to do whatever we can to help him learn from his mistakes,” Mahomes said. “We’re going to try to do whatever we can to get him on the right path.”
Rice is facing charges over a multi-vehicle car crash in March. He is also in hot water over a dispute with a photographer, but he might soon be off the hook in that case.
As much as the Chiefs might want to help Rice, the NFL may send him a strong message at some point in the next few months.
