Jalen Hurts has apparently been living in the weight room this offseason.
A photo went viral this week of the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Hurts looking absolutely ripped at OTAs. New Eagles backup quarterback Kenny Pickett was visible in the background too, indicating that the picture was very current.

The photo appears to have come from the last day of Eagles minicamp on Thursday. Here is some video footage of Hurts at the session.

The two-time Pro Bowler Hurts is officially listed at 6-foot-1 and 223 pounds. He is coming off a 2023 season where he threw for a career-high 3,858 yards and 23 touchdowns but also 15 interceptions. Hurts added 605 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground as well.
The jury is still out on what the added bulk might mean for Hurts’ passing accuracy. But it should definitely help Hurts when it comes to the “tush push,” which the NFL officially issued a ruling on earlier this offseason.
