Acquiring Case Keenum in a trade may not be the only move the Washington Redskins make at the quarterback position.
Washington acquired Keenum in a trade with the Broncos on Thursday where the teams swapped 2020 6th and 7th-round picks. Denver is kicking in half of Keenum’s guaranteed money for 2019, meaning Washington gets him for $3.5 million. Washington has Colt McCoy and Keenum for 2019, in addition to Alex Smith, who is recovering from a devastating leg injury.
They may have interest in adding more at the position. Barstool Nate, who first reported the Redskins were acquiring Keenum, was told by a source that Washington still has interest in Josh Rosen or potentially drafting a quarterback in the first round.

The Redskins would either have to pay two quarterbacks in 2020 if they add a new one and still have Smith on the roster, or they’d have to trade Smith. No matter what, if they draft a QB or trade for Rosen, they would probably have to send one of their guys away because they’d be overflowing at the position.
