Denver Broncos cornerback Riley Moss had zero filters during an interview following a win against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Moss dropped an NSFW comment while reacting to the Broncos’ thrilling 33-30 overtime victory at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo. at the expense of Josh Allen and the visiting Bills, but immediately apologized for it.
“Holy s–t, we are going to the AFC Championship game,” Moss said. “I don’t know if I can say that, apologies at home… Let’s go. I’m pumped.” You can check out the clip of that moment here.
In any case, that was an understandable show of emotion from Moss, as the Broncos are now just a win away from making their first appearance in the Super Bowl since 2016, when Peyton Manning and company defeated the Carolina Panthers at Super Bowl 50.
Denver appeared to be on its way to finishing the Bills in regulation, but Buffalo forced overtime with a field goal by veteran kicker Matt Prater. In OT, the Broncos got the first possession, but their drive ended in a punt.
Fortunately for Denver, its defense stepped up and intercepted Josh Allen on the next drive. The Broncos made sure not to waste their next possession, as Will Lutz made the game-winningm walk-off 23-yard field goal to send Denver to the next round.
