Rob Gronkowski was surprisingly honest when asked about the condition of his hamstring on Thursday, and the response he gave might worry New England Patriots fans.
Confirming a report from earlier in the week, Gronk said he is not 100 percent healthy and considers himself “week-to-week.”

Gronkowski was smiling and said he feels good, so it’s possible this could be the Patriots’ way of trying to throw a curveball at the Arizona Cardinals. However, the All-Pro tight end later added that it will be up to the training staff to decide whether he plays Sunday night.
With Tom Brady already suspended for the first four games of the season, the Patriots desperately need Gronkowski to be at his best. That said, they have been extremely cautious with him in the past any time he has battled an injury, so he’s no lock to play against Arizona.
