The New Orleans Saints and wide receiver Dez Bryant may have experienced one of the unluckiest injuries of the season.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Bryant was injured at practice on Friday and had to be helped off the field. The Saints fear that Bryant tore his Achilles, which would end his season before it even has the chance to begin.
Dez Bryant was helped off the field at #Saints practice today after suffering what the team fears may be a torn Achilles, sources tell me and @RapSheet. He’s getting an MRI now.

This comes only two days after Bryant signed a one-year deal with the Saints. He had just gotten into practice with the aim of getting into game shape, even if Week 10 was going to come too quickly for him to play in. Now, he may not get the chance to play for New Orleans at all.
