Sam Bradford will reportedly start for Vikings on Sunday night
In an entirely unsurprising revelation, Sam Bradford will reportedly start for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night against Green Bay.
A source told ESPN’s Ben Goessling that Bradford would be the choice for the Vikings’ inaugural game at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Offensive coordinator Norv Turner hinted that Bradford was ready when speaking on Thursday.
“I thought Sam is a lot more comfortable with all the communication. I think he’s getting more comfortable,” Turner said. “The most important thing: He’s getting comfortable with our players. Each guy is a little bit different, and I think you get reps with them, and you start getting more comfortable.”
Mike Zimmer will not be happy that this leaked, but the writing was on the wall. From the price paid for him to playing with the starters in practice, it was an inevitable decision.
