Saquon Barkley not worth much in a trade?
If the New York Giants are hoping to get some nice pieces in a Saquon Barkley trade, they may find themselves disappointed if they put him on the market.
The consensus value around the league for Barkley is a fourth-round pick, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Duggan added that he was “skeptical” that the Giants would be willing to move the running back.
Surveying sources in Indy, the consensus trade value for James Bradberry is a third-round pick and Saquon Barkley is a fourth-round pick. I'm skeptical that the Giants will pull the trigger on a Saquon trade.

Barkley was the second overall pick in the 2018 draft, so to say his value has eroded would be an understatement. Injuries have been the major culprit, as a torn ACL ruined his 2020 and further issues followed in 2021. He is still just 25, but his health is a major question.
There have been indications that the Giants are willing to trade the running back, but they probably envisioned getting more than a fourth-round pick for him. At that price, it stands to reason that they might just keep him, though he carries a cap hit of over $7 million in 2022.
