The move reunites Tulloch with Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, who was his defensive coordinator in Tennessee and then recruited him to Detroit when he became head coach of the Lions. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that these two sides decided to come to an agreement. The links between the two sides have existed virtually ever since Schwartz became the team’s defensive coordinator.
Perhaps the best news for Tulloch? Now that he no longer shares a division with Aaron Rodgers, he hopefully won’t be tempted to do the discount double check move anymore.
