Houston Texans cornerback Shareece Wright did not care for the clown mask TY Hilton wore to Saturday’s AFC Wild Card playoff game.
Hilton said during the week that playing in NRG Stadium was like a second home for him, which Texans CB Johnathan Joseph called a clown comment. In response, Hilton showed up to the game wearing a clown mask.
Asked about it after the game, Wright called the mask “disrespectful.”

If Hilton makes a remark and then plays back at something said in response, that should be considered part of a beef, not an act of disrespect. Joseph agrees.

The real disrespect is that nobody acknowledged the real founder of the whole “clown” thing.
