Titans interested in Jadeveon Clowney

Jadeveon Clowney

The Jadeveon Clowney market may be heating up a bit.

According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, Clowney has begun to drop his asking price. Clowney’s previous asking price was $20 million per season, and now it’s down to around $17-$18 million, which has opened the door for more widespread interest.

Russini reported that the Tennessee Titans have joined the Seattle Seahawks in being interested.

Titans GM Jon Robinson admitted that the team has been in contact with Clowney’s agent.

Clowney’s asking price was unrealistic considering his 3.5 sacks last season and his health issues. Dropping it by a few million seems to have revived his market. It had to happen considering there were rumors that it could be months before he signed with a team. It sounds like this has already accelerated the process.
