Tom Brady joins Twitter with April Fool’s joke
Tom Brady finally decided to join the wonderful world of Twitter on Monday, and he did so while causing panic among New England Patriots fans who were not aware of the date.
In his first ever tweet, Brady announced that he is retiring from football and will be focusing more on tweeting.
I'm retiring. In my spare time, I'll be tweeting #LFG

Monday was April Fool’s Day, of course. No, Brady is not retiring.
Brady still plans to play until he is 45, which is the age he has been targeting all along. Considering he just won yet another Super Bowl, there’s no reason he needs to stop now.
Brady’s teammate Rob Gronkowski, however, was not joking when he announced he is retiring. You could probably make the argument that Gronk’s post-retirement plans are somewhat of an April Fool’s joke, but the Patriots still need to find a way to replace him. As of now, they don’t have to worry about finding a new Brady.
