Trevor Lawrence knocked out of Jaguars’ game with ankle injury
Trevor Lawrence was knocked out of his Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night after suffering an injury late in the fourth quarter.
Lawrence took a snap from the shotgun at the Cincinnati 23 on 3rd-and-11 with his Jaguars and the Bengals tied at 28 and under six minutes left in the game. Lawrence pump-faked a pass and then had his right ankle stepped on by his left tackle Walker Little. As he went down, he then got bent over the wrong direction by Trey Hendrickson.

Here is another look:
Trevor Lawrence –
Gets his right ankle stepped on then rolled, then further rolled over after the defender hits him.
I’d say main concern is an ankle sprain, but given how much pain he’s in (+ assistance from staff into locker room), possible concern for a fracture. pic.twitter.com/ZXSC8gSSk6

Lawrence tried to get up but then went right back down to the turf at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. after realizing something was wrong. He then was helped off the field and down into the locker room.
Lawrence was taken in for X-rays.
The 2021 No. 1 overall pick out of Clemson has not missed a game in his career. He entered Week 13 with 46 straight starts (including the Monday night game).
