Twitter reacts to bombshell Odell Beckham trade
An absolute bombshell of a trade came through on Tuesday when the Cleveland Browns acquired Odell Beckham Jr in a trade with the New York Giants. Cleveland is trading a first and third-round pick (their second third-round pick in the 2019 draft) and Jabril Peppers for Beckham (according to Adam Schefter), and they may give him a new contract.
The trade reunites Beckham with his former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry and pairs him with up-and-coming quarterback Baker Mayfield.
The deal left folks on Twitter stunned, to the point that NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo ended his report by saying “I am not joking.”
