Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill will not face charges over allegations of child abuse.
In a Wednesday press conference, the Johnson County District Attorney announced that Hill would not be charged, nor will Crystal Espinal, the child’s mother.
According to the district attorney, the belief is a crime was committed, but there was inconclusive evidence as to who committed it.

Hill was reportedly being investigated for battery, and reports indicated that the child in question came away from the incident with a broken arm. It’s hardly a total exoneration, but his legal jeopardy appears to be over for now. It does not, however, put him out of the woods in terms of NFL discipline, as the league can still hand down a possible suspension even without charges being filed pending their own investigation.
