Report: Vikings will trade or release Laquon Treadwell
The Minnesota Vikings are looking to move on from a former first-round pick.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Vikings are working to trade wide receiver Laquon Treadwell. If they cannot find a deal, they will release him, meaning his time with the organization is essentially over.

The 24-year-old Treadwell was the 23rd overall pick in 2016. He simply has not produced as expected, catching 56 passes for 517 yards and only one touchdown in his three years with the team. He’s still young enough that another team could find him intriguing enough to trade for, but the production has not been there thus far.
Ultimately, for now, his NFL career may be best remembered for him being the subject of a very memorable rookie prank.
