Von Miller’s annual April Fool’s Day joke continues to fool fans left and right.
Miller posted a heartfelt message on Instagram Wednesday thanking Broncos fans, accompanied by an image claiming he’d been released by the team.
Check the date, of course. Miller has not been released by Denver.
The best part? Miller does some variation of this every year. In 2018, he claimed he’d been traded to the Cleveland Browns. He did the same thing in 2017, and has done similar in years past. In spite of this, some fans fall for it every year.
Miller actually was the subject of trade rumors during the season for the first time. That’s not the case now, though, regardless of how many jokes he makes about it.
