Michael Phelps, girlfriend Nicole Johnson still together
Michael Phelps and his girlfriend Nicole Johnson spent Thanksgiving together and appear to still be going steady, despite the recent bizarre rumors that have surrounded the 18-time Olympic gold medalist.
Johnson and Phelps each posted some photos on their Instagram accounts of their family gatherings this week.
Johnson, who was miss California USA 2010, has been dating Phelps for several months.
Last week, Phelps’ self-proclaimed girlfriend Taylor Lianne Chandler — who has a Facebook page that is basically a shrine to the 29-year-old swimmer — revealed that she was born a man. Radar Online later released text messages that seem to indicate Phelps and Chandler had some sort of fling.
Chandler, 41, comes off as an obsessed superfan more than anything. If something did happen between her and Phelps, it appears Johnson has gotten over it.
