Blues surprised superfan Laila with her own Stanley Cup ring
The St. Louis Blues had one of the most improbable Stanley Cup runs in NHL history, and they credited superfan Laila Anderson for inspiring them. They have now rewarded her with one of the highest honors possible.
The Blues shared a video on Twitter Tuesday that shows Alexander Steen and Colton Parayko (Laila’s favorite player) surprising Anderson with her own Stanley Cup ring.
A special gift from her boys – thank you Laila for being such an inspiration during our #StanleyCup run. #stlblues pic.twitter.com/4Zlu1Xuwjb

The Blues made Laila part of their rings too. The bottom of the rings all have her name engraved on them.
Laila’s name will be on the inside of every single Blues Stanley Cup ring

Laila expressed her gratitude with a post on Instagram:
Anderson, who is battling hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a systemic inflammatory syndrome, met Parayko during his visit to St. Louis Children’s Hospital on Halloween last year. The Blues were the worst team in the NHL at the start of 2019 and rallied to make the playoffs before going on to win it all. Throughout the season, Parayko kept in touch with Anderson, who believed in the team the entire way and became a symbol of inspiration.
Anderson even hoisted the Stanley Cup when the Blues won it all. Perhaps nothing tops getting your own ring though.
