Misty May-Treanor busts out odd dance after winning gold medal

There’s something about winning a gold medal that makes some women want to dance. First it was Serena Williams breaking out her gangster walk after winning the women’s singles title at the London Games, and then it was Misty May-Treanor doing some bizarre jig after winning the gold in beach volleyball on Wednesday.

I couldn’t tell you exactly what the three-time gold medal winner was doing there, but it appears to be some odd version of the running man on sand.

May-Treanor was clearly stoked to win her third gold medal with partner Kerri Walsh Jennings and extend their winning streak to 21 straight matches at the Olympics.

Hey, when you’re winning Olympic gold medals at age 35, there’s nothing wrong with getting crazy with your celebration. She can dance however she wants. Oh yeah, May-Treanor also made good on what she told LBS back in February.
