One woman watching the Olympics on Friday made the hilarious realization that the man who beat Michael Phelps to win gold in the 100m butterfly was someone she actually snubbed on Tinder months earlier.
A woman who goes by “@sabwow” on Twitter has gone viral after she shared a screenshot of her Tinder conversation with Singapore swimmer Jonathan Schooling the night he won gold at the Rio Olympics.
Here are the tweets she shared, along with a screenshot of the conversation that shows her not responding to Schooling:

my tinder match just won the 100M butterfly final and beat Michael Phelps

and not replying to his message was my greatest failure

waiting on @Tinder to sponsor me

Though Schooling competes for his native Singapore in the Olympics, he attends the University of Texas at Austin for college, which explains the Tinder match.
Schooling may not have gotten a response from the woman in that case, but we’re guessing if he updates his Tinder dating profile with a photo of him with the gold medal around his neck, his reply rate will skyrocket. And then hopefully his Tinder dates will go better than this Olympian’s.
