Bubba the Love Sponge’s battles with Hulk Hogan aren’t over even after Hogan’s death.
Hogan’s son Nick is suing Bubba, whose real name is Todd Clem, in order to block an upcoming documentary release. Clem has announced plans to release a documentary titled “Video Killed The Radio Star: The Untold Story Of The Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Scandal” later this month.
Nick Hogan acted on behalf of his father’s estate when he filed the suit in a federal court in Florida on Tuesday, according to TMZ. Hogan alleges that the documentary contains unauthorized images of Hulk Hogan’s sex tape, and that the documentary has been promoted in a way that uses Hulk Hogan’s trademark without permission. The lawsuit also alleges that the documentary would violate a 2012 settlement agreement between Hogan and Clem.
The documentary promises to reveal the true story of how Hogan’s sex tape with Bubba’s then-wife Heather Clem was leaked to the media. Hogan and Bubba had a falling out after the tape was made public, though Hogan supposedly did not think Bubba was the individual who publicly leaked it.
Recently, Bubba has also made some other claims about Hogan and his death that Hogan’s family probably do not like.
Hogan died on July 24 at the age of 71 due to a heart attack. He had been battling leukemia and an abnormal heart rhythm.
