WWE legend Jim Ross hospitalized with medical issue
Legendary wrestling announcer Jim Ross was hospitalized on Thursday with a medical issue.
Ross revealed via a post on X Thursday morning that he went to an emergency room in Norman, Okla., after experiencing shortness of breath. He did not provide any further details.
“Unexpected trip to ER in Norman this morning. Shortness of the breath. That’s all for now,” Ross wrote.

Ross, 72, currently serves as an announcer for All Elite Wrestling. He is best known for his work as an announcer for WWE across several decades, including the incredibly popular “Attitude Era” in the late-1990s and early-2000s.
Ross, known to many as “Good Ol’ JR,” was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.
Ross has dealt with Bell’s palsy and other medical issues throughout his career. He announced earlier this year that he underwent surgery to remove cancer in his hip.
