Fresh off winning the Super Bowl MVP, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has gone big time. Whether it was making appearances on Ellen or hanging out with models, Rodgers is capitalizing on his celebrity status. Even teammate Clay Matthews called him out for it.
Rodgers’ latest venture is creating a music label called Suspended Sunrise Recordings. His big signing is a band called “The Make” which released a song called “Get It” on Thursday. Rodgers makes a cameo during the music video. Can you spot him? Check out the video:
Yup, that was Aaron Rodgers who stole Peyton Manning’s Sprint commercial costume. You would hardly recognize him, right?
If you’re wondering how Rodgers got hooked up with the band, it’s due to a hometown connection. The Make is from Chico, Aaron’s hometown. He had been a fan of a previous band featuring two of The Make’s members, and he liked what he heard of their new band.
Personally, I think the music video was better than the song. The lead singer has a good voice and they have a decent sound, but the song itself wasn’t that catchy.
