Miguel Cabrera exits Tigers game with hip tightness after falling
Miguel Cabrera left Thursday’s Detroit Tigers game against the White Sox with hip flexor tightness after falling on the bases.
Cabrera singled in the top of the first inning but fell after rounding first and was seen limping. He stayed in the game for another inning before being replaced.
The Tigers said the slugger had hip flexor tightness.

Cabrera has played well for the rebuilding Tigers this season. He’s batting .318 with a .991 OPS. Cabrera was looking to stay healthy this season after being plagued by a back injury all last year.
