Twitter reacts to Kolten Wong’s Gatorade bath fail
The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday, but the more interesting battle of the day was Kolten Wong vs. the Gatorade cooler.
After Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina brough home the winning run with a walkoff single in the bottom of the ninth, Wong came charging out of the dugout attempting to douse his teammate in a Gatorade bath. Unfortunately though, he lost his balance midway through the windup and ate dirt instead.

Predictably, the jokes from the wonderful world of Twitter were plentiful.

The 27-year-old Wong is hitting just .203 so far this season, so he has been struggling to find his footing in more ways than one lately. On the bright side though, at least his mishap didn’t cost the Cardinals the game this time.
