On Feb. 15 during a game against the Nuggets, Delonte West suffered a fractured ring finger on his right hand. He has since returned to action and given the Mavericks some quality minutes off the bench, but West still has to tape the healing finger and said it feels like hundreds of tiny needles are jabbing it every time someone swipes at it or falls on it.
If you think the injury sounds nasty, it looks even worse. Early Monday morning, West tweeted a couple of pictures of his finger from when the injury had happened with accompanying text that read “that’s where (the) bone came out.” If you’re squeamish, I would recommend not jumping ahead to look at them.
I think I’d rather break my arm.
