Pokey ChatmanRemember a few months back LSU women’s basketball coach Pokey Chatman was fired resigned from her post after allegations arose that she was having a relationship with a player?  Yeah, well, apparently you can’t keep a good woman down.  WAFB in Baton Rouge reports Pokey better have a parka and handle of Stoli ready:

Former LSU Lady Tigers Head Coach Pokey Chatman has accepted a lucrative coaching position with Spartak, a professional basketball team based in Russia, WAFB’s Greg Meriwether reports.

Chatman says she accepted the job Thursday and plans to begin work in October. Chatman says she will be living in Russia about six months out of the year.

We wish Pokey all the best of luck.  Now, this whole irresponsible coaches deal still is not resolved.  AJ Daulerio asked the question, who will be the next coach busted for inappropriate conduct.  Hmm, maybe this guy.
