Arizona senior offensive lineman Steven Gurrola was ejected from the second half of his team’s game against Oregon in the Pac-12 championship game on Friday.
Gurrola was penalized for a personal foul for fighting following an interception thrown by backup quarterback Jesse Scroggins. A replay showed that the Wildcats center threw a punch at DeForest Buckner.
Because of his second half ejection, Gurrola will miss the first half of Arizona’s bowl game. That’s not the way you want to close out a career.
