Brandon Marshall Has History of Alleged Domestic Violence with Rasheedah Watley
Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall was involved in an alleged domestic violence incident that resulted in him getting stabbed early Saturday. The police report says Marshall’s wife, Michi Nogami Marshall stabbed him out of self defense, but we are unsure what really happened. Police are investigating the incident, but in the meantime it’s worth pointing out a few things about Marshall’s past.

All of that is pretty horrible, but that’s only part of the story. In 2009, ESPN did a profile on Outside the Lines of Marshall’s history of alleged domestic violence. In this report, his former girlfriend Rasheedah Watley accused Marshall of domestic violence multiple times. The first of seven complaints she filed was in 2006 when she says Marshall choked her during an argument. She has accused him of slapping her, assaulting her, and she says she needed to grab a kitchen knife as protection during a fight.
