Ray Lewis’ new facemask makes him look as intimidating as ever (Picture)

As if Ray Lewis didn’t already look intimidating enough on the field, the Baltimore Ravens say he will now be sporting this crazy facemask during games. Giants defensive lineman Justin Tuck began wearing a similar facemask this season, and apparently Lewis likes the look. Between the grille and shaded visor, Lewis looks like he’s a member of the SWAT team getting prepared for a raid. I wouldn’t want to be a running back staring across the line knowing that’s what’s about to tackle me. Goodness gracious.

I’m sure it looks great until there is a fumble at your feet and you can’t see it. bring back the one bar

The facemask is cool, but nowhere nearly as intimidating as seeing the intensity and determination on Ray Lewis’ face.

Lets not ignore that the added bars on facemasks like these a weight to the helmet. What do we think that means when his helmet impacts that of an opposing player?
