Nothing wrong with what he said. He was not criticizing Christians or regular people who are “conservatives” , he was crushing politicians in my opinion. He has a problem with “conservatives” , both politicians and voters trying to force their beliefs on others. Morality cannot be legislated and those who think it can are putting themselves and the law above GOD. GOD gives free will to screw up or do right.
I am sure there are many good Christians who vote “conservative” but there are many politicians more willing to say anything to get elected. Barkley is a straight shooter and just about everything he says is common sense. If anyone is offended by these comments is a punk and btw he could care less if anyone is offended. The only people who would even think of some kind of boycott to get him suspended are people with no lives.

I will always admire Barkley for the passion that he showed to the game of basketball; however, he is simple lost in a topic where he has no experience or expertise about.

His comments are racial, rude and in really bad taste. He needs to be taken off the air and thrown back into a black hole somewhere.

He has always been funny to me because he never showed ANY BRAINS AT ALL, in any area — This includes basketball.

I hope that Mr. Barkley get booted out for these ignorant and inconsiderate comments.

You don’t need to be a christian or agnostic in order to see that he went over the line this time.

I have been a teacher for 25 years and never heard a “professional” being so inconsiderate towards others.

Somebody needs to take Barkley off the air, and fast. He gets away with racial slurs and degrading remarks about other groups all the time. It’s about time we hold all people responsible for their remarks, including minorities. If we give them a free pass or make excuses for them, we are saying, in effect, that they are inferior and should not be held responsible for their words and actions like other people and groups.

MLK’s dream called for a color blind society where people are judged on what they do and what they say. At least give Charles a slap on the wrist and a suspension, please.
