Video and audio from aftermath of Jon Jones’ car crash released

Video and audio from the aftermath of Jon Jones’ car crash in April have been released by the Albuquerque Police Department, and it provides visual and audio evidence of the incident that led to the arrest of the MMA star.

The audio and video, which was obtained by MMA Digest, shows how badly all the cars were damaged in the crash. Jones’ silver SUV, which was rented, was smashed and the airbags were deployed.

The maroon sedan seemed to take the worse end of the crash and was completed smashed in the front. Jones hit a pregnant woman and that was her car.

In the 911 audio, you can hear the caller say a man left the SUV and was hopping fences to escape the scene. Jones’ felony hit-and-run charge was upgraded after the woman suffered a broken arm.

Cash, condoms and drugs were found in Jones’ car as you can hear in the video. They also talk about witnesses saying Jones returned to the car to get cash he left behind. What’s interesting is hearing some of the investigators piece it together that it was Jon Jones the MMA star who had rented the car.

Jones was released April 28 on continued bond.
