Channing Crowder: Michael Phelps smoked weed with Young Jeezy, Ryan Lochte a hippie pothead

When the infamous photo of Michael Phelps with his mouth pressed against a bong hit the internet more than three years ago, former Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder was not surprised. Crowder, who is now a mid-day host at 560 WQAM in Miami, told “The Jorge Sedano Show” he saw Phelps smoking weed no more than three weeks prior to the picture coming out. And the 18-time gold medalist was supposedly in good company.

“I was on South Beach probably three weeks before (the infamous photo came out)” Crowder explained. “Everybody knows who Young Jeezy is — he was in (the club). It was crazy because it was Young Jeezy and Michael in the next section over from us at (a nightclub). I look and I see Young Jeezy’s hanging out with a big old white guy and it was Michael Phelps.

Ryan Lochte picks Auburn to win the LSU-Texas A&M game (Video)

Who would Ryan Lochte pick to win a college football game between LSU and Texas A&M? If you guessed a team other than LSU or Texas A&M, you’re already close to the correct answer. Leave it to Lochte.

During a guest appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday morning, Lochte did as only Lochte could do when the Olympic gold medalist picked Auburn to win the LSU-Texas A&M game. Granted, I’m sure he was looking at a different game on his note sheet and got lost, but how often do we see that happen?

Leave it to the guy who admits to peeing in pools and tries to trademark obnoxious phrases. Just another day in the life…

Ryan Lochte reportedly seen hanging out with Miss USA Olivia Culpo

While the world for some reason waits for Ryan Lochte to find a girlfriend, we may finally have a contender. The NY Daily News recently reported that Lochte was at a party hosted by shoe designer Brian Atwood at the Four Seasons restaurant last Wednesday where he met Miss USA Olivia Culpo. As you can see, the two posed for a couple of photos together. Lochte also stopped for a picture with Donald Trump, who owns the Miss Universe Organization.

“Things are still very new, because they just met, and they obviously aren’t exclusive,” says an insider, but they “definitely like each other.”

“Everyone was trying to get a piece of Ryan at the party, but he spent a chunk of his time talking to Olivia,” says a second source. That source claims Lochte invited Culpo to his “Guys Fashion’s Night Out” event at Ainsworth Park restaurant last Thursday, but Culpo was already booked, so they reunited at the Sherri Hill show Friday.

A spokeswoman for Lochte cautioned that it is “too early” to say that he is dating Culpo, noting that they have been getting along and have gotten to know each other but are “not dating.”

Now that the Olympics have ended, Lochte might actually have time for a girlfriend instead of just one-night stands like his mother previously stated. Lochte has already laid out specific guidelines for what he looks for in a woman, so time will tell if Culpo meets the requirements. Unless, of course, he tells her about the stupid phrase he tried to trademark and she decides she’s had more than enough.

Ryan Lochte on not swimming with Michael Phelps: ‘I’m definitely going to miss him’

Now that Michael Phelps has announced he will officially retire from swimming, Ryan Lochte will be the star of the show for Team USA in the pool. Anytime the most decorated Olympian of all time is not competing, other swimmers have a better chance to take home a medal. While no Phelps could mean a better shot at a gold for Lochte and others in 2016, Ryan says he is going to miss the rivalry and camaraderie.

“I’ve been racing against him for eight years, and every time I go up on the blocks he’s right there next to me, so I’m used to it,” Lochte said on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno Thursday according to US Weekly. “He’s one of the hardest racers I’ve ever had to come across so I’m definitely going to miss him.”

When asked about the rivalry between the two, Lochte said that only exists in the water.

“We kind of leave everything in the pool,” he explained.

Outside of the pool, Phelps and Lochte appear to get along. They have been known to compliment each other on Twitter and can often be seen joking around with one another. The good news for Lochte is that he might have a little less competition now when trying to sell his lame apparel and promote his bizarre catchphrase. The good news for Phelps is that he no longer has to be in the pool next to Lochte when he pees in it.

Ryan Lochte trying to trademark catch phrase ‘Jeah!’

After watching the Olympics and listening to all the buzz surrounding the London Games, it is my understanding that Ryan Lochte has very few problems with the ladies. It is also my understanding that these ladies may only care about money, swimming and good looks. Otherwise, the deal would probably be off as soon as he opens his mouth. Take Lochte’s favorite catch phrase “Jeah!” for example.

According to TMZ.com, the US Swimmer has filed documents to trademark the phrase “Jeah!” so he can use it on sunglasses, workout DVDs, drinking glasses, playing cards, calendars and all sorts of merchandise. As you can see from the screenshot above that was taken from the store on his personal website, Lochte is already putting it to use.

In the video below from 2009, Lochte and his ridiculous hairstyle attempt to explain the phrase while admitting that he stole it directly from rapper Young Jeezy.

Ryan Lochte reportedly considering offers for reality TV shows

The London Olympics have turned Ryan Lochte into a marketing machine. He may not come off as the sharpest knife in the drawer all the time, but there is something about him that gets people talking. For companies who endorse him, that is a great thing.

As The Hollywood Reporter pointed out, the US swimming star currently has nine big endorsement deals that include Gatorade, Speedo, Gillette and Ralph Lauren. Those corporations don’t care about Ryan’s admission that he pees in the Olympic pool or the diamond grill he wore on the medal stand. All of those things create buzz, and buzz is a good thing when you’re trying to sell a product.

Now, it appears reality TV producers are hoping to ride the Lochte wave. According to his agent, Lochte has been asked by Will Ferrell to appear in a “Funny or Die” and approached about starring in television shows.

“I cannot tell you the exact shows, but two different reality show concepts have been offered and one additional is being discussed,” Erika Wright wrote in an email.

Any athlete with a mom who says outlandish things like this would probably make for great television. Lochte has already said he is open to appearing on “Dancing With the Stars,” so it’s safe to assume we haven’t seen the last of his face now that he is done in London after having locked down five medals. If you’re one of the many people who can’t stand the 28-year-0ld, there could be a lot of frustration in your future.

Ryan Lochte talks about what he’s looking for in a girlfriend

Listen up, ladies. The man who is considered by many to be the most eligible bachelor in the Olympics has laid out some criteria for you. Ryan Lochte will soon be headed back to the United States with five medals from London and a whole lot of endorsement money. During a recent press conference, he talked about what he is looking for in a partner.

“Honestly, someone that I can trust, I think trust is something really important, and they have to be able to make me smile,” he said. “I want them to be my best friend and my lover at the same time.”

You hear that? That means no gold-diggers. As an Olympic swimmer, Lochte is an understandably busy man. He spends most of his time training, which is why his mother recently said he only has time for one-night stands and not serious relationships. Since he plans to also compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil, his schedule for the next four years might look similar to the one he has kept for the last four.

However, Lochte did say last week that he intends to alter his training routine and not work as hard this time around. At 28 years old, he is no longer a young Olympic swimmer and will have to make sure he keeps himself fresh. A number of women out there are hoping that frees up some time for a serious relationship.
