False alarm goes off at Busch Stadium during Angels-Cardinals game
A siren went off during Friday’s game in St. Louis between the Angels and Cardinals at Busch Stadium, though it turned out to be a false alarm.
As the Angels were on the field and Matt Carpenter was up to lead off the bottom of the first for the Cardinals, an alarm sounded around the stadium.

Players stopped playing while fans started to clear out based on the belief that there was an emergency. It turned out to be a false alarm though, and play resumed after about five minutes.
So…. A loud siren went off, accompanied by an announcement that there's an emergency and all fans should move.
Players milled around on the field but now they seem to be set to resume.
False alarm.

We actually saw this happen during a Cardinals game last year, but it came at Cincinnati and during a pitcher’s no-hit bid.
