Ken Griffey Jr.’s post-MLB career has taken him to the Masters, but not as a golfer.
Griffey is working as a photographer for the Masters’ official website at Augusta National this weekend, via Doug Stutsman of Golfweek. It marks the first time Griffey has worked in that capacity at the event.
On Thursday, the official PGA Tour X account shared a photo of Griffey hard at work on his new profession.

Some of Griffey’s work is already being highlighted as well. The Baseball Hall of Famer was credited as the photographer for this photo of Jordan Spieth and his daughter.

Who took it? Ken Griffey, Jr., who is on site working the full Masters week as a professional photographer. pic.twitter.com/XWgubO5OQU
Photography is not new to Griffey Jr. The world first got a look at him hard at work at the 2022 Home Run Derby, where he became a viral meme. He has worked other events since then, including one of Lionel Messi’s MLS games.
Obviously, Griffey is doing some quality work if the Masters hired him as a credentialed photographer. The 55-year-old looks like he has a healthy career after baseball, and it would not be a surprise to see him pop up as a photographer at other major events.
