Pedro Martinez was one of four players who was voted into the Hall of Fame on Tuesday, and we are all thankful for that. As expected, Pedro’s interviews have been phenomenal. That includes his answer to a question about the prime of his hairstyling career.
On Wednesday, TMZ asked Martinez if his Jheri curl hairstyle is going to be featured on his Hall of Fame plaque.
“I wish,” Pedro said. “It was great. It was amazing. That’s how people saw my face all the time. I look at it and I laugh.”
Pedro was rocking the Jheri curl during some of his most dominant seasons, so it would make sense for it to be featured on his Hall of Fame plaque. Martinez and his Jheri curl stared down many a batter after doing this, and that’s how many of us remember him.
