Twitter reacts to Rays P Blake Snell being left off All-Star team
Tampa Bay Rays starter Blake Snell may be leading the AL in ERA, but that didn’t help him get elected to the All-Star team.
Snell was a glaring omission when the All-Star teams were announced on Sunday. The Rays pitcher is 12-4 with a 2.09 ERA and 132 strikeouts this season. His ERA is second in MLB only behind Jacob deGrom among starters. Not only should Snell have been named to the team, but many expected him to be in the mix to start for the AL squad.
Take a look at some of the Twitter reactions from those who were outraged by the snub.

Blake Snell has the 2nd lowest ERA(2.04) in baseball, lowest in AL. Tied with 2nd most wins(12) in MLB. Awful

Wait… they put together an all-star team that didn’t include Blake Snell?!!?? What a joke. Is this real?

The snub was really inexcusable. MLB needs to find a way to make it right.
