Video: Aaron Judge’s girlfriend Samantha Bracksieck dropped slugger’s name during DUI arrest
Aaron Judge’s girlfriend Samantha Bracksieck was arrested in February for driving while under the influence, and it seems like she was hoping her relationship with the New York Yankees slugger would help keep her out of trouble.
In a video of the DUI arrest that was obtained by TMZ on Friday, Bracksieck is shown dropping Judge’s name several times to police. At one point during the traffic stop, she asked officers, “Do you know who my boyfriend is?”
Police in Scottsdale, Ariz., pulled Bracksieck over at around midnight on Feb. 25 when they saw her driving without headlights on. The video shows her admitting she drank two glasses of wine during dinner, and police were unimpressed when she revealed she was dating Judge.
“My boyfriend is not in a spot where I should be, like, having this happen,” Bracksieck said. “He’s like a public figure. So, like, me being arrested for, like, having two glasses of wine is not OK. … My boyfriend is in the spotlight of New York media in general. And, now here I am handcuffed here in Arizona … like, that is not good.”

Judge is currently recovering from a broken rib and partially collapsed lung. Yankees GM Brian Cashman recently explained why the outfielder’s recovery has been so difficult.
