Adrian Wojnarowski got some attention on Wednesday, but it wasn’t because he dropped a “Woj bomb.”
Following the announcement of Russell Westbrook’s retirement from basketball, Wojnarowski was among the many personalities to drop a heartfelt message for the former NBA Most Valuable Player.
“What an honor to have had a front row seat to such a historic career,” the 57-year-old Wojnarowski commented on Westbrook’s retirement post on Instagram. “An incredible competitor, teammate and philanthropist. Congratulations Russ!”
Wojnarowski’s message has already garnered over 7,000 likes, proving how much of an impact he has had on basketball fans everywhere. He still commands attention, even when he’s not the main subject.
But that number simply can’t hold a candle to what Woj used to pull during his heyday.
