Draymond Green had hand in Warriors’ first-round draft choice
Even during the offseason, Draymond Green continues to leave his fingerprints all over the Golden State Warriors.
During ESPN’s coverage of the NBA Draft on Thursday night, Rachel Nichols reported that Green had a hand in the Warriors’ first-round selection of Cincinnati guard Jacob Evans (No. 29 overall).
After the draft, Warriors GM Bob Myers revealed that the Defensive Player of the Year winner was in the draft room with management as well.

Evans, 21, averaged 11.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game in his three seasons with the Bearcats. He projects as a 3-and-D wing who could play a quality role off the bench for the Warriors next season.
As for Green, he is known for offering his two cents to the team when it comes to the draft, as he also demonstrated last year in rather memorable fashion.
