Kobe Bryant sends Kristaps Porzingis great message in book

Kobe Bryant sent Kristaps Porzingis a nice recovery gift.

Porzingis is recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL. The New York Knicks big man shared a photo on his Instagram account Friday of Kobe’s book, “The Mamba Mentality.” The book has a personalized message on it from Kobe, who told the Knicks youngster to “get healthy” and “kick a—!”

That’s probably just the kind of encouragement Porzingis needs.

Porzingis is progressing in his rehab but has not played yet this season. The Knicks recently said Porzingis will be checked again in mid-February. A previous report said the Knicks expected Porzingis to play this season.
