LaVar Ball is back in good spirits roughly seven months after losing his foot.
The outspoken Ball family patriarch posted a video to social media this week showing off his new prosthetic leg. In the video, Ball confidently declared, “Big Baller is back, baby!” Another clip showed Ball walking around town without assistance with the prosthetic fitted onto his right leg.
Take a look.

Ball, the father of basketball-playing sons Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo, had to get his right foot amputated in February due to a “serious” medical issue. In an interview a month later, the 57-year-old Ball spoke out on his health crisis, revealing what caused the amputation and blaming his own carelessness with his health.
The last that we saw of Ball was several months ago when he still needed a scooter to get around. But it appears that Ball is fully mobile now and is moving around pretty well with his new prosthetic.
Meanwhile, Ball’s three sons are still doing well for themselves too. Lonzo successfully returned last season after a multi-year knee injury absence and is now with the Cleveland Cavaliers after being acquired in a summer trade. At the same time, LaMelo is still on the Charlotte Hornets, whom he got an All-Star nod with in 2022, and LiAngelo has since transitioned into a somewhat successful career as a rapper (best known for the 2025 hit song “Tweaker”).
