Luc Mbah a Moute optimistic about return from shoulder injury
Luc Mbah a Moute expressed optimism that his dislocated shoulder won’t keep him out as long as the one he suffered earlier this season.
In December, Mbah a Moute sustained an injury during a game against the Hornets. He missed 15 games with that injury. This time around, the Houston Rockets forward is hoping for a faster return.
Rockets F Luc Mbah a Moute said his dislocated right shoulder is "much better than last time." He missed a month earlier this season, but he doesn't expect to be out as long this time. He declined to be specific about a timetable but indicated the second round is a possibility.

Mbah a Moute’s most recent injury occurred last week during a dunk attempt. He was initially expected to miss the first round. However, it has not been ruled out that Mbah a Moute could return for the series against the Timberwolves if it extends to six or seven games.
After winning by just three points in Game 1, Houston had an easy time with Minnesota in Game 2 and now has a 2-0 lead in the series. With Houston in control of the series, it would be understandable if the team is cautious and sticks to its original expectation.
