Nate Robinson had funniest social media post after Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight
Nate Robinson thinks that he is now off the hook after Jake Paul’s victory over Mike Tyson.
In their highly-anticipated heavyweight bout on Friday night, Paul defeated the boxing legend Tyson by unanimous decision to improve to 11-1 for his professional career. While the fight was a snoozefest that drew poor reviews from fans, it at least had the former NBA guard Robinson feeling vindicated.
“Y’all gotta leave me alone now #PaulTyson,” Robinson wrote on X.

The former Dunk Contest champion Robinson was the second opponent that Paul ever boxed, losing to Paul via an embarrassing knockout back in 2020 (video here). With Paul now having beaten perhaps the greatest boxer of all-time in Tyson, Robinson feels like he doesn’t look so bad any more.
Of course, that is a comical post by Robinson considering that Tyson is 58 years old now and managed to go eight rounds against Paul without even knocked down (while Robinson got his clock absolutely cleaned by Paul midway through just Round 2). Though Robinson, who had zero boxing experience and was at a major size disadvantage to Paul, probably never should have gotten into that ring to begin with, he is wrong that the Paul-Tyson result somehow makes him look any better.
