There was a brief delay in Thursday night’s Houston Rockets-Los Angeles Clippers game at Staples Center after a complaint that one of the baskets was off.
Russell Westbrook noticed an issue with the basket early in the third quarter and got someone to come check the basket. A staffer got on a ladder and used a level to check the rim, which was perfectly level.

One of the game’s officials later told the TNT broadcasting crew that the “backboard might be off a hair to the left or right, but the rim is level.”
The backboard being slightly crooked may have been what threw off Westbrook.
The Clippers led by 15 at halftime after outscoring Houston with a big second quarter.
