Steph Curry and LeBron James are longtime rivals on the basketball court, but they may soon become allies on the golf course.

On Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers star James posted a video of himself hitting the links. James was taking swings on a local golf course and decided to try his luck with a driver in one clip.

Here is the video of James’ swing (which could admittedly use some work).

"That's a motherf*cking shot!"

The Golden State Warriors star Curry was among those who commented on James’ post. Curry responded with a six-word reaction.

“Welcome,” wrote Curry, “We’ve been waiting for you.”

Curry is an avid golfer, having played the sport in high school and also having participated in numerous celebrity tournaments as an adult. The four-time NBA champion sharpshooter has produced some impressive long-range eagles during tournaments before and even the occasional hole-in-one.

As for James, he still obviously has a long way to go before he can even compete in so much as a casual celebrity tournament. But James, who will be turning 41 years old later this year, is nearing retirement from the NBA and is clearly looking into some new hobbies to take up.

If nothing else, at least James has a far better golf swing at this point than Jalen Rose does.
