Video shows Kobe Bryant’s helicopter just before crash

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating Sunday’s helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif. that killed nine people, including Kobe and Gianna Bryant, and trying to learn exactly what led to the crash.
The helicopter, which was flown by experienced pilot Ara Zobayan, did not have a black box or terrain avoidance warning system. The lack of a black box means we will not be able to hear exactly what the pilot was saying prior to the crash. However, an iPad and cell phone have been recovered, which could provide some information.
New video also gives some idea of what the helicopter looked like prior to the crash. The clip was presented in a video by Inside Edition.
Inside Edition’s video talks about what Rick Fox went through. The former Laker shared how the rumor that he died affected his family and friends.
This CBS video gives a visual of what the flight may have looked like prior to the crash.
The wreckage from the helicopter crash was airlifted away from the crash site in Calabasas. The NTSB had previously released drone footage from the crash site. Audio from the helicopter’s communication has also been released.
All nine bodies were identified, and coroners confirmed the identities of four of the victims as of Wednesday. The visual of the helicopter going down nose-first at 184 miles per hour is nothing short of horrifying.
We feel terribly for the victims who had to experience that as their last moments before death.
