It’s safe to say Bill Self’s Kansas Jayhawks have grown a bit since they went through some December struggles.
After Self’s Jayhawks lost at home in December to the Arizona State Sun Devils, Self called his team “soft.” Since then, Kansas had their share of issues, but it all culminated in a Final Four bid after the team’s overtime win over Duke.
Self wasn’t calling his team soft after the win — in fact, quite the opposite.

There was certainly some controversy in the win, but Kansas is through. They’ve certainly grown since December, and Self has done an excellent job on the sideline. He’s certainly entitled to a victory lap.
