Chris Blewitt makes game-winning kick after kiss from Pat Narduzzi
A kiss might have contributed to one of the biggest upsets of the college football season.
Clemson opened as a 19-point favorite over Pittsburgh, but that didn’t matter to the Panthers. Pittsburgh trailed 42-34 after three quarters, but scored the final nine points of game to knock off the No. 2 team the country.
The hero was Chris Blewitt, who made a 48-yard field goal with six seconds left in regulation to give the Panthers a 43-42 lead. However, the day wasn’t perfect for the senior kicker. Earlier in the game, he failed to convert an extra point attempt and had a 53-yard field goal blocked.
Head coach Pat Narduzzi did his best to keep Blewitt’s spirits up and was seen on the sideline with his arm around him. Narduzzi even gave Blewitt a kiss.

Perhaps it was the pep talk. Or, maybe it was the kiss. Either way, the Panthers shocked the college football world on Saturday and Narduzzi provided a moment few around Pittsburgh will forget anytime soon. It has already inspired catchy phrases like this one.
